In this helmet I have represented the high pillars of Samurai, the Bushido, under the symbol of the mighty fire dragon, just as a 21st-century Samurai would look. The inscription “Respect. Beyond life and death, for all eternity, Sacrifice.” surrounds the helmet, while the kanji of “Honor” depicts both sides of the dragon. Absolutely handcrafted helmet and mask in carbon fiber and 22 and 24 carat gold leaf with Urushi lacquer and Taka Maki-e techniques on Sabi Urushi.
